DICHOTOMY Exploring the conversation between the representational and the abstract aspects of my work, the ability to see one style at work in the other, has been a driving force of mine for several years now. At some point a homogeneous unity may emerge, I cannot begin to fathom that end. The Red Line	Joey Possibly simplistic in my attempt to discover the commonality, but these four images clearly show connection. Aside from the metaphor of the hat, there are textural as well as line qualities that cross reference between the works.
